Supply cost estimate

Concrete Cost Calculator

Estimate material cost from an order-ready quantity, supplier price, delivery fees, pump cost, and tax.

Project

LENGTHWIDTHTHICKNESS

Formula

Fees attach to the rounded order

Estimated total = order quantity × price per yd³ + delivery + short-load + pump + fuel surcharge + tax. The material subtotal uses the rounded order, not the raw measured volume. Blank fee fields stay at zero.

Common mistake

Hiding delivery inside the yard price

Two suppliers can quote different yard prices and different short-load rules. Keep delivery, short-load, pump, and tax in their own fields so you can see which line changed. Labor, forms, and base preparation stay outside this estimate.

Worked quantities

Order size before any dollar amount

30 × 30 ft, 6 in is the first row that needs more than one truck at the 10 yd³ default capacity. That default is a planning field, not your supplier’s short-load rule. The fee column stays “Not entered” until a written quote gives you a number.

No price in this table is a local quote. Enter supplier figures in Adjust assumptions before comparing invoices.

Field check

Use the supplier's billed increment

The material subtotal uses the rounded order quantity, not only the measured volume. Set the same increment or minimum quantity the supplier will use before comparing a calculated subtotal with a quote.

Field check

Do not hide fees in the yard price

Keep delivery, short-load, pump, and other known charges in separate inputs. That makes two quotes easier to reconcile even when suppliers structure their invoices differently.

Field check

Labor and site work remain outside

The launch estimator covers concrete supply and the fees you enter. Formwork, reinforcement, excavation, base preparation, finishing labor, permits, and equipment rental require separate estimates.

Questions

What the cost calculator answers

Does this include labor?

No. The calculator estimates concrete supply and the delivery fees you enter.

Can I compare more than one supplier?

Save or share separate versions of the job with each quote.

Why are prices not automatic?

Supplier fees vary by location, distance, order size, and schedule. Real quotes are more reliable.
